Community Involvement is a cornerstone of advisor David Rae's Los Angeles Financial advisor practice. He thinks involvement in his community is important for all, but specifically for his business, where communities have entrusted him with their finances and their retirement. For David, working with organizations that fight disease and discrimination is his true passion.
David Rae has worked hard for many years to become a specialist in financial planning for the LGBT community and is well known for hosting large charity fundraisers. During the last several years, he has completed the AIDS/LifeCycle seven times. The world's largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser, the LifeCycle, is a 561-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Beyond just doing the ride, he has consistently been a top fundraiser, not to mention founding and leading a team of 50+ raiders to help introduce more people to the joys of philanthropy through athletic events. David has led his team to a cumulative $1 million raised to fight HIV/AIDS. He was also featured in an LA Times article talking about his experience and training for this event. David has also been active in a variety of other charity athletic events and causes fighting devastating diseases.
David has been recognized by Registered Rep, a national industry publication, as an "Advisor With Heart" Award Winner at its 31st Annual Altruism Awards.
